The XM-5000Li Lithium Electric Moped is one of our newest additions for 09'
The XM-5000Li is the first of it's kind street legal electric powered moped / motorcycle running on lightweight high powered Lithium batteries and a 5000 Watt rear hub motor. The XM-5000Li E-Moped is the fastest & lightest e-moped available & because it's running on 21 small light weight Lithium Ion batteries, the driving distances can be up to 85 Miles on a single charge + the battery life can be 7 to 10 years and can be charged up to 2000 times, with proper battery care.
The XM-5000Li is about the same size of size than the XM-3500Li with equal weight. It also has about 25% more torque than the XM-3500Li. The distribution of the weight is also an important factor since the 21 batteries are small & stored low in the bike to keep the center of weight low to the ground which gives the driver more stability & control. With updated rear hydrolic bisc brake hose, the stopping power of the XM-5000Li will be both quick & safe. The built in automatic transmission gives the 5000Li a top speed of about 60 MPH and we have personally tested this moped to these speeds. This moped is capable of traveling up to 85 miles on a single charge and therefore does not need to be re-charged daily if the bike is not going to exceed it's maximum range.
With the rising gas prices these days Electric modes of transportation are becoming an ever more affordable necessity versus traditional transportation. You will soon read about the XM-5000Li in many magazines and news releases & you are likely to see reports about it on TV in the near future. The XM-5000Li is certified Green.
The XM-5000Li is a DOT certified Motor Vehicle. This is Not A Toy Scooter. It is likely you will need a drivers or motorcycles license to operate this bike. Consult your local DMV for more details.
Each XM-5000Li includes a VIN and MCO certificate that you can take to your local DMV office in exchange for a Title (Pink Slip) and License Plate / Registration.
This item ships by a trucking company. Shipping is free as long as you pick it up at your nearest terminal. Alternatively you can choose delivery to your door for $50. If you do not live in a major city, or close to a terminal, we suggest you pay the $50 to have it delivered directly to your residence.

We hear lots of horror, Scooter stories. People don't go out looking to buy a scooter that is going to fall apart, but the reality is that it DOES HAPPEN. Everyone wants the "best deal" and the market is so flooded with sub-standard Gas Scooters right now, how would anyone know what to believe and what are good models? Our advise is simple. "DO YOUR RESEARCH" Even if you do not buy a gas motor scooter from us (but we hope you do), do yourself a favor and talk to your seller. You will find allot of "um's" and "well's" because many times they have no idea about the product. Ever wonder why sometimes you see the same model on several different sites that look almost identical but has a different name? The reason is because they are basically the same scooter. Someone just put a different label on it and now it is supposed to be faster, more reliable, or better in some way.
The Motorized Scooter machine above is by far one of our most favorite models BECAUSE of the solid build, reliable service and awesome looks. I have personally ridden my own scooters over some of the nastiest terrain I could find to test the durability of this product. Every scooter has its limits and these models have out performed all of our close competition "hands down".
